Day 1 : Drive to Denizli from Antalya. Visit Karahayit village and Kizilsu. Arrive at Pamukkale thermal spring area. This area resembles cotton piles so it is named “ Cotton Castle “ in Turkish. Visit the travertines and Hierapolis. Built by the wife of Pergamon King, this ancient city has the biggest Nekropol in Anatolia with its 1200 gravestones.

 

Day 2 : After breakfast, go to Selcuk via Aydin. Visit House of Virgin Mary. Drink water from the holy pond. Go on to Ephesus, a well preserved ancient city dating back to 6000 AC. Later occupied by Romans, see the wonderful library, a great amphitheater which is one of the biggest in the world and much more. Afterwards, drive to Sirince, a small pleasant village known for its importance to Turkish wine industry.  Then move on to Kusadasi.

 

Day 3 :  Enjoy the view of Bafa Lake. Then go to Dalyan for a mud bath. Visit the ancient Kaunos city. Go to Iztuzu Beach for swimming. Iztuzu is also one of the Caretta Caretta Turtles’ nesting areas in the world. Stay in Fethiye and enjoy Fethiye night life.

 

Day 4 : After breakfast, visit Kayakoyu and Saklikent Canyon. Move on to ancient Tlos. Turn back to Antalya.
